A self storage facility provides customers with their own individual space. Self storage differs from traditional storage in that the owner of the goods, is responsible for, and retains control over their items after they have put them into storage. You lock your own space and keep the key and have freedom of access to your space during the business hours of the storage facility. You pay an initial fee to use the storage facility and are subject to the necessary regulations of the storage facility.
You have freedom and flexibility with self storage in as much as you can access your space as often as required (within the prescribed hours of the facility) spend whatever time you need in your space moving goods in and out as needed.
What can I store?
If it can be moved, it can usually be stored! Furniture, books, files, some building materials, commercial stock, sporting equipment including vehicles - just about anything from a few boxes of wine to a full house of furniture. Please check with individual storage facilities.
How much space do I need?
Identifying exactly how much space you require is never easy, but our Space Calculator can be used as an approximation. Our Storage Team are always happy to discuss your exact requirements without obligation and it's completely FREE of charge.
How much does it cost?
You only pay for the space you need. We offer a range of convenient payment methods, including monthly or quarterly direct debits, credit and debit cards. We require a small fully refundable deposit, and provide an account reminder service - for details ask at the storage facility.
What about insurance?
Whilst your goods are in self storage they are NOT AUTOMATICALLY COVERED for loss or damage. Please don't assume ANY EXISTING insurance policy will cover your goods in self storage, ask your insurance company to find out whether your existing policy is suitable for covering your goods in self storage. You have chosen to store your possessions with us in a modern secure facility so covering every eventuality is a wise precaution.
Can I Upgrade my unit ?
You can't predict the future and you may find that the space you originally booked no longer meets your requirements. It's no problem! We can change the space you've booked.
